Dr. Tammy d’Artenay

I am an Assistant Teaching Professor at Penn State Shenango in Sharon, PA.  I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Biology at the University of California Berkeley and a PhD in Plant Biology at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.  I have worked in higher education for seven years, and have taught a wide variety of classes.  Currently I teach major’s and non-major’s biology, plant biology, environmental science, and sustainability.  My research focuses on curriculum development as well as plant ecology.
